The second season of “Boardwalk empire dvd” begins on Sunday by Tianya
On the eve of Boardwalk Empire: Season 2 commencing at HBO, we have had a chat with the show’s costume designers, Emmy nominated John Dunn and Lisa Padovani about what is in store for dandy gangster Nucky Thompson, sourcing vintage dresses and upcoming trends of the 1920s.
Terence Winter, the creator of “Boardwalk Empire,” considered filming in Atlantic City, but the newer development would have ruined his shots. “It’s great that people still go to the landmark spots and keep them alive,” Mr. Winter said. “There’s a lot there, if you’re looking for it.” When work on the show began, one of his researchers rented a bus and took the whole staff to the back streets and old places.
