Why do Christians that wear What Would Jesus do paraphernalia always tend to be more pushy?
I find that the Christians who wear and believe in the What Would Jesus do concept tend to be more vocal and opposing of other peoples beliefs. Usually when someone shakes my hand and I see a WWJD wrist band I run for the hills.
Is this merely a statement to say : I am with Jesus – watch out!
I prefer people who are humble about their religion and talk about it only if asked about it. I dont want pushy people wearing all types of statements on their body to start verbally attack me.
And yes, I think it is a money making thing! Do you agree
I always think these people should ask themselves what Jesus would do if he were asked whether he wants to buy a WWJD wirst band.
I’m fairly sure that one thing Jesus would not do is wear one of these self-proclaiming, self-important labels.
Then again, he probably also wouldn’t vote Republican, own guns, drive a big car, support illegal wars……
